I subscribe to a theory that every guy in the right moment would have sex with any woman. This theory is accompanied by a scale of 1-10 based on contributing factors, and bragging afterwards.

1) TWO CASE BINGE UNINTENTIONAL FUCK---You were so drunk when you fucked her that you have no memory of anything, and must take her word for it. You did however remember to tell her that if she ever told a damn soul, you’d kill her ass. You’d lie to God about this one, even if he had pictures.

2) TWO CASE BINGE INTENTIONAL FUCK---You may have planned this because it has been a while, maybe she is dying and this is her final request, or there may have been 48 beers and an ugly girl just sitting there and you said, “why not?” Either way you did this intentionally. You still tell her that if she ever tells a damn soul, you’d kill her ass. You would do anything to prove to someone you never touched this bitch, 100% denial.

3) WHAT THE HELL FUCK---This girl still took a case of beer+ or a fifth of liquor, but you knew what you were doing and others might find out. You might be the most thorough wingman ever; maybe this is some chick that would follow you home after five minutes, or the ugly girl in your circle of friends that takes whatever dick she can get from any of you. You know when you do this that somebody is going to find out, but it has the potential for a good story, or major guy points for being a great wingman so you did it, and when people ask, you might lie about it in public, but admit it in private.

4) ADMIT IT FUCK---This girl isn’t anything to brag about, but she isn’t worth spinning a web of complicated lies over either. When asked about this encounter you simply answer, “I was drunk”

5) “I DID” FUCK---Still not something respectable, but she is plain enough that you just admit what you did and go on.

6) “I FUCKED HER” FUCK---You see this girl out somewhere and you will stop your friends and point her out to them. She may not be the hottest thing ever, but she is defiantly worth earning another notch on your belt with the guys.

7) CALL SOMEBODY FUCK---You hardly get out her front door or her out yours, before you are calling someone to tell them about her.

8) THE REAL DEAL FUCK---This is a true blue Hottie. You will make sure all your close friends know about this encounter and have pictures (hopefully nude) distributed to everyone within 24hrs. You will talk about this girl until something better comes along, which it probably won’t. Many guys will mistakenly call this girl a 10 because they can’t even fathom what a true 10 is.

9) THE WOW FUCK---This is the kind of girl that guys only dream of and few ever have. When the guys find out about this, there is usually a celebratory steak dinner involved. You can brag about this for as long as you want, because you are right to do so. You may not have to though, because guys around you will be so in aw of you that they will bring it up out of admiration.

10) THE TATTOO FUCK---This girl fell from heaven, and before you meet her you couldn’t have even imagined something this hot. Upon fucking her you have her picture as well as a detailed description of the act tattooed on your forehead. While this may be a bit extreme, you will never be faulted because of just how amazing this girl is. NOTE: If you don’t have the tattoo, you haven’t had a 10.

PETA

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is a terrorist organization in my opinion. As a red blooded American I enjoy killing animals (I’ve never killed an animal that wasn’t either dangerous or killed to be eaten) and eating them, as well as using many animal products and products tested on animals. In addition I also keep pets and make them do foolish tricks like rolling over if they want a treat (I‘m a sick fuck I tell ya). Now naturally I would hate PETA, they support terrorism, veganism, activism, and many other isms which I do not. That of course makes them wrong. Wanting to stop the bad people and have a little fun along the way I decided to look into some of PETA’s fine work and expose them for what they are. I thought this would be an excellent beginning:

February 6, 2005 Torrance, CA: Animal rights activists smashed windows and glass doors and spray-painted slogans at a McDonalds restaurant. A burglar alarm alerted police around 4:30 am. “McMurder Killers” and “ALF” were painted on a window. it was similar to attacks in the South Bay and Hollywood Hills within the last three months. Since November, vandals have struck at least three other times at McDonald's restaurants — including once at the same Torrance franchise. Each time, they shattered windows, spray-painted the letters "ALF" and wrote slogans such as "Don't feed your kids McKillers," "Stop McKiller" and "We won't sleep until the slaughter ends."
This was found at the homepage of the National Animal Interest Alliance who literaly have hundreds more examples on their site.

Now anybody who has ever eaten at McDonalds knows, despite what Ronald may tell you, that shit isn’t meat. So why attack filler patty producing McDonalds when there are greater violators out there.
Of course you could be saying, “General that article said nothing about PETA”.
Get your fingers out of your ass stupid, while every one of these acts may not be the work of a PETA funded group, many are and PETA supports this kind of attack.

PETA has also attacked Petco, not for being overpriced, but for treating animals poorly, many of the complaints involve fish, but these were some of my favorites, the full list can be found at here.
--Three love birds were on display in a tiny cage. One bird, who had apparently rejected by the other two animals, appeared “depressed.” “DEPRESSED”
--A sick, dehydrated hamster was found on display and brought to the store manager, who ordered employees to “put it” in the back room. Three days later, the animal died in the store without veterinary care. It isn’t economical feasible to pay for a vet for a product that sells for $4
--A gecko was on display with the remains of two dead cage mates and had inadequate food. The gecko and complaintant haven't seen Alive
--Mice, rats, hamsters, and gerbils born in this store were fed to snakes on the sales floor or given to employees “for feeder purposes.” Guess what happens in the wild
There are so many more good ones you have to go look it up.

I ask that everyone who is concerned by the work that PETA does to sign this petition and write your government officials, while your at it, tell them to get the pumps running in Alaska. Petitions and such are just not enough though, we must each do our own little part to right the wrongs that PETA is committing. Go out today, have a steak, go to the zoo, buy and domesticate an animal (better yet buy it from Petco), and get that leather coat you’ve wanting.

Story Time

I sit here sick with the flu reading some of my favorite blogs. One of these is the blog of a childhood friend Sebas, and another, one of his college friends Pete.

Sebas was an interesting kid, if by interesting you mean so jerked around by his mothers insanity that he was destined to have a great degree and make his living jerking-off into a cup and sleeping under someone’s dinning room table. Recently his childhood and some of the happenings have come into light in his blog and that of his friends. To make sure that great stories aren’t lost I’m going to publish a few here and then send them on.

Laundry or Camp?

Now Sebas was the oldest of four kids. Why had his parents birthed so many kids you ask? To do all the work around the house of course. On this particular occasion we were around 10 and his chore at the time was doing the laundry. We had been going to a day camp for the summer, and every two week session ended with an optional sleepover that all the kids looked forward to. We showed up at the place where the camp bus would pick us up that day with our sleeping bags, mess kits, and whatever else you brought, and Sebas had his. We did the usual camp thing that day and in the afternoon as the buses were loading to take all the kids who were too young, too gay, or whose parents sucked too much to let them stay, a counselor notified Sebas that he needed to go get on the bus. Why didn’t young Sebas get to stay for the sleepover? His mother and younger siblings had produced too much dirty laundry that day and rather than do it them damn selves his mom had him sent home to do it.

Oil Slick

Sebas’ parents always kept an above ground pool somewhere in their yard, which is really funny considering we were raised in one of Nashville’s most prestigious neighborhoods. Regardless, at 8 you don’t care about prestige and considering that most of the yards in the area were too small to have real pool, it was great. Now as young kids in a 3’ x 18’ pool will discover, there is a limit to what you can do besides try to fight and drown each other, we were no exception. Sebas developed a special defense against being dunked and body slammed, which I like to call the oil slick. He discovered that if he didn’t shower, and I mean ever, he would be so slippery and gross that nobody would want to try to grab him, and if you did he would slide right out of your hands he was so slippery. The real kicker was that his younger brother followed suit, so soon the two grubby fucks were both protected from dunking. This however had disastrous results on the water conditions in the pool. There would always be, regardless of chemicals added to the water, a skim of “body oil” on top of the water.

My New Year’s resolution was to wait until after football season and then decide what my resolutions would be. The thought process here being that I enjoy watching football, and generally do so at my favorite neighborhood bar. Now the three things that I need to work on are drinking, smoking, and eating habits. Obviously the heart of football season isn’t the time to be making changes in such wonderful vices, however now the day to make my resolutions is less than 72 hours away I need to start hammering them down. I have one so far.
I want to upset someone so much this year that I drive them to suicide or total insanity. In the spirit of this when I come across a blog that appears to be the pathetic dribbling of someone with nothing and nobody left, I will leave this uplifting message:
Why is it that you would even take the time to post something so mediocre about your insignificant existence? Would you not be better served to just mutter to yourself while preparing a noose?
This is an honest question an I’m sure that I’ll get a lot of “creative” replies such as those calling me an asshole…No shit!

Immigrants, "exploitation," wages, and low prices!
That Taco Bell Brouhaha

The cacophony over Taco Bell's allegedly scandalous wage practices is getting louder, at least on college campuses. Some of my students have asked about the Taco Bell boycott being pushed by organizations like the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW) and Students Against Sweatshops. Is Taco Bell really impoverishing workers? Will boycotting Taco Bell actually increase wages? Is it likely that people will be willing to pay more for "fair trade" tacos? How will this affect unskilled workers in the long run?
Trends in public opinion are not encouraging. A Google search for "Taco Bell wages" returns, in the first ten pages, only five hits that either supported the company or were neutral (two links were to Daniel D'Amico's splendid piece on the issue, two were to an Acton Institute commentary, and one was to a Taco Bell site). All other sites painted the company as a vicious exploiter of migrant labor who must be stopped at all costs.
Is Taco Bell really "exploiting" and impoverishing workers? The CIW and other anti-labor organizations answer in the affirmative. On their website, the CIW claims that "by contracting for cheap tomatoes grown and picked by farmworkers (sic) paid sub-poverty wages in Florida, Taco Bell contributes significantly to the continued misery of farmworkers and their families."
This is precisely wrong. Taco Bell's wage policy alleviates the "continued misery of farmworkers and their families" rather than contributing to it. Wages are not foisted upon workers; they agree to pick tomatoes for "sub-poverty wages" for a reason. In a market economy, they do so because the 'sub-poverty wages" paid by Taco Bell suppliers are a better deal than anyone else is offering. It's the same reason people line up for "sweatshop" jobs in developing countries. Far from contributing to "continued misery," Taco Bell is making workers' lives a little bit better by offering something better than their next-best option.
Before we rush to condemn free markets and market forces, we have to ask where the workers are coming from. In many cases, Taco Bell suppliers employ migrant workers who are making their own "run for the border." Migrant workers in Immokalee come from places like Haiti, Mexico, and Central America—areas where markets have been crippled by state intervention for generations. The end result is a veritable army of workers who have not been allowed to build a skill set through free market employment and who are now suited to do nothing better than pick tomatoes for pennies. Far from being the enemies of labor, American markets are offering migrant workers an opportunity to substantially improve their standards of living and the prospects of their children.
Among other things, the CIW is calling for a one-cent per pound increase in employee wages, arguing that large corporations like Taco Bell and McDonald's are responsible for the conditions of their workers. Profits are high enough, the protesters argue, that Taco Bell can share the wealth. This is misguided for three reasons.
First, consumers are a fickle bunch. There are a lot of substitutes for Taco Bell, and Taco Bell consumers—who usually have low incomes—are very price-sensitive (in econo-speak, the demand curve for fast food is highly elastic). A change in prices of just a few cents could have a big impact on the bottom line. Market forces discipline producers to keep quality high and prices low.
Second, investors are a fickle bunch. Falling profits will tell investors to look for greener pastures. If Taco Bell wishes to attract capital—and by extension, if Taco Bell employees wish to stay employed—they have to maintain a healthy bottom line.
Third, market wages are not arbitrary. If an extra penny a pound is so great for workers, why not an extra ten cents? An extra ten dollars? Why don't we legislate that Taco Bell pay workers $100 billion per pound of tomatoes, and failing that, boycott them until they do? The answer comes back to market discipline. Just as people aren't willing to pay taco prices sufficient to allow workers $100 billion per pound, they aren't willing to pay taco prices sufficient to allow workers an extra penny a pound without hurting Taco Bell sales and, by extension, Taco Bell employees.
"Exploitation" is also terribly ambiguous. To the extent that voluntarily agreed to wages are below someone's notion of what is "fair," no exploitation exists. No doubt, some Taco Bell workers are still exploited. The CIW reports on several slavery operations in which workers have been kept in trailers under the watch of armed guards. In cases where Taco Bell or a Taco Bell supplier is coercing workers or reneging on agreements, they should be prosecuted. This may give us a reason to re-evaluate immigration policy. Many migrant farm workers come to this country illegally. Since they do not enjoy contracting rights available to American citizens and "legal" migrants, they are at a disadvantage.
Both problems of exploitation stem from state monopolies on contract enforcement. If slavery does in fact exist among migrant farm communities, it tells us that some people are evil and that the state isn't very good at its job. We may not want to rely on the state to fix the problem. The second problem comes from the fact that an "illegal" worker has little recourse when wronged. The US government is under no obligation to enforce his contracts or agreements. Competitive markets for contract enforcement would mean more enforcement, higher quality enforcement, and cheaper enforcement. There are already thriving markets for services that help immigrants adjust to life in the United States; we can expect to see thriving markets for immigrant contract enforcement crop up in the absence of state monopoly.
The boycotters also argue that the boycott will reduce Taco Bell's profits and bring the company to its knees. Taco Bell, seeing that low wages aren't good for the bottom line, will be forced to offer higher wages to their workers. While boycotts are far superior to state intervention, it isn't clear that a boycott will have its intended effect. They are less costly, they don't rely on violent intervention, and they even present opportunities for entrepreneurs who can sell "fair trade tacos." In the long run, the boycott will reduce wages and opportunities for migrant workers.
When socially-conscious consumers reduce their demand for Taco Bell products, they reduce the demand for Taco Bell's inputs, like tomatoes. Lower demand for tomatoes in turn means lower demand for tomato-pickers, which means lower wages for tomato pickers. Reduced demand for tomato-picker labor means fewer tomato-picking jobs at lower wages, which is exactly the opposite of what the Taco Bell boycotters wish to accomplish.
This may create a market for "fair trade" tacos. This is again preferable to state intervention, but it still hurts workers who sell "unfair trade" tomatoes and rewards people who may be wasting resources. Unfair trade tomatoes are good substitutes for fair trade tomatoes, so people who buy "fair trade" tomatoes and other goods are bidding resources into tomato production unnecessarily. Not that there's anything wrong with that—we should do nothing to impede voluntary exchange—but we must recognize that the fair trade tomato picker's gains are coming at the expense of would-be tomato pickers who must pursue other options.
It may be that Taco Bell will capitulate to worker demands and offer higher wages. Is this a triumph for workers? At best it is a mixed blessing. Taco Bell may offer higher-than-market-clearing wages to some workers, but it is also likely that they will look elsewhere for tomatoes. Florida tomato employment may be lower than it would otherwise be as Taco Bell looks to other, less well-organized suppliers. The net effect is to redistribute wages and opportunities from some low-productivity workers to other low-productivity workers.
This point has been made before, but it is worth repeating. If people are interested solely in Taco Bell tomato-picker welfare, they shouldn't boycott the restaurant. They should stop eating at other restaurants and eat only at Taco Bell. For that matter, they should stop cooking and eat every meal at Taco Bell. This will increase the demand for tomato-pickers and, therefore, will increase tomato-picker wages and tomato-picking opportunities.
This still leads to ambiguous results. The net "social gain," to the extent that such a term has any coherent meaning, is minimal at best. In order to support Taco Bell tomato-pickers, consumers have to take the dollars they were spending at McDonald's, Burger King, and other restaurants and spend them instead at Taco Bell. While it may well be a bonanza for Taco Bell tomato-pickers, it is a disaster for the people who provide McDonald's and other restaurants with all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, and sesame seed buns. The problem hasn't been solved; it has merely been shifted into a different sector.
Organizations like the CIW and Students Against Sweatshops should be commended for fighting slavery and fraud wherever they exist. However, by seeking to build consumer movements, encouraging "socially conscious" shopping, and by seeking to use the coercive power of the state to achieve their goals, they're actually hurting the people they want to help.

Judge tells moms in custody cases to learn English

A Wilson County child-court judge has been ordering foreign-born women to learn English for the good of their children — an action that some regard as unconstitutional.
In a case this week, Judge Barry Tatum insisted that an 18-year-old Mexican woman take language classes and consider using birth control.
Tatum said his admonition didn't come out of malice or the urge to Americanize an immigrant. Instead, the judge said he worried that the woman's 2-year-old daughter would miss out on opportunities because of her mother's inability to communicate in English.
''A parent has the right to raise a child the way they see fit, but government gets involved at some point,'' Tatum said. ''I'm concerned about the civil rights of the child and what will happen to her.''
The immigrant woman and her American-born toddler both entered the state's custody in 2003.
A complaint was made to state child protection officials, accusing the mother of neglecting her baby by not following up on immunizations and other shots, said K. Danielle Edwards, a spokeswoman with the state Department of Children's Services.
Neither Tatum nor Edwards would identify the woman or her child, saying that identities of people involved in DCS and juvenile court cases are confidential.
Tatum said the written order in the case hadn't been filed yet and he couldn't recall whether his direction that the mother learn English was merely a suggestion or carried the legal weight of an official court order.
But local civil rights attorney Jerry Gonzalez said the latest case sounded ominously similar to another recent order issued by Tatum — a decision that Gonzalez is appealing.
In that case, Gonzalez said, Tatum ordered a Mexican woman in a child neglect case last year to learn basic English within six months. If she didn't comply, the lawyer said, a hearing was to be held to consider terminating the mother's parental rights to her 11-year-old daughter.
''Ordering a woman to learn English or lose her child, that's blatantly unconstitutional,'' Gonzalez said. ''The First Amendment allows all of us to speak whatever language we choose to speak. There's nothing compelling us to speak English, to learn English or be able to write English.''
He declined to present a copy of the order, saying the documents were sealed in juvenile court and that he could be held in contempt if he shared the document.
Judge Tatum said he could not immediately remember the case Gonzalez referred to because of the volume of cases that move through his courtroom. But, he said, he has issued similar English-training orders in three to five other cases.
He said the mother's ability to learn English in this week's case would not directly influence her custody over the toddler.
''There are no repercussions in terms of termination of parental rights,'' Tatum said.
Still, civil libertarians called any ruling that included such a provision unconstitutional and outrageous.
''This is clearly not acceptable, and we're worried that the judge has gone over the line,'' said Hedy Weinberg, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee. ''A judge should not require a parent to learn English to have access to their child, and the government should not be telling parents how to communicate with their children.''
ACLU officials are considering filing a complaint against the judge or seeking to place a monitor in his courtroom, she said. Weinberg wasn't aware of similar cases in other areas, but acknowledged that they may be happening ''under the radar screen.''
Such rulings violate the constitutional requirement for equal protection and equal treatment under the law, she said.
''There's no relationship between being a good parent and speaking English,'' Weinberg said.
Luis Bustillos, a probation officer in Davidson County who also considers himself a Hispanic activist, said he didn't disagree with Tatum's ruling. ''It's not controversial,'' he said. ''As long as they are with their own people, there's no need for them to learn English. When they go work, they need to communicate in English.''
Bustillos said he came to this country in 1964 from Bolivia.
''It was very hard for me when I came here to learn English,'' he said. ''We need to bring the message to the community that if they (learn English), they will improve their status.''

Millions of new people join the online fray each year, bright-eyed and busy-tailed, with a glimmer of hope in their eyes and a wonder of everything around them. They and the millions who came before them post their thoughts and feelings to online forums, blogs, and chat rooms. As people become more familiar with the way things work out here on the digital frontier, they get a feeling for a set of unwritten rules that seems to govern online discussions of all sorts. Well, Skor is tired of these rules being unwritten. There should be a place for the unwashed masses to come and find out what is expected of them in the ether of the online. That place will--from now on--be here.

Rules for Posting on the Internet

Community Support
Maybe this isn't news to anyone but me, but a really really cool thing has been happening lately. A little community is starting to develop amongst blogging mothers of children with disabilities or differing abilities, or children who don't fall totally into the realm of "typically developing" for one reason or another. These mothers are blogging and reading each other's blogs and commenting and building a really wonderful, supportive community. Recently I've felt it happening and felt included in that, and it's a wonderful feeling. Thank you.

My biggest problems here are the terms "differing abilities" and "typically developing". What is wrong with retarded? Or slow? Generally these things aren’t doing anything too fast. Why not developmentally challenged? Makes more sense. How about fucked up? They are.

What is "typically developing"? In this stupid fucks quest to be PC and justify the natural challenge her child has, she has just excluded it. Exactly when did you figure out that only you gave birth to a bobble head doll? If you grew up in a white neighborhood and squirted out a child of mixed race, wouldn’t that fall under not "typically developing"?
"Differing abilities"? Bullshit, there isn’t a damn thing her kid will do that other children it’s age haven’t mastered. Not trying to just be a jerk, but honestly this kid won’t read Shakespeare any time soon. How is always being behind being of "differing abilities"? I have a buddy who did horribly in school and is just a mess at life in general who you could say has "Differing abilities", of course you could also say he is stupid. I could be wrong about this, maybe her kid will cure cancer one day, and maybe it’ll figure out the see-saw, hey skies the limit. I just wouldn’t go so far as to say "Differing abilities" because it doesn’t have X-ray vision and I doubt it can fly. Superman has "Differing abilities"!

Quit being so damn insecure about your child and trying to make interesting new catch phrases that serve no purpose but to make you feel better about your situation. You were not ready for this situation and now you are trying to comfort yourself when you should be caring for the kid. This is why I support abortion, this idiot doesn’t need a child, regardless of any DISABILITIES it may have.

Despite the fact that I’m a retched asshole on here I’m not all bad. In public I even try to be courteous, mostly so that I’m justified when I chose to lose it on someone, but regardless don’t fuckup and I’ll be nice. So yesterday I’m on the way to a little gathering to watch the Conference Championships when I stop for smokes and a Cherry Coke. There is a guy in skin tight WOMEN’S low cut jeans standing between me and the cooler holding my beloved Cherry Coke. This guy has one hand on his hip and with the other is holding the car key he is sucking. I politely say “excuse me sir” and reach around (no jokes) him to get my coke. What does this this little dick warmer say to me? “Uhgu… Bitch!” My face is now red. NO…NO…NO…NO…NO! Stick a dick in your mouth your ass or anywhere else you please and leave me the hell alone and we’ll be fine. Be such a fucking Queen that I get called a “bitch” because I said “excuse me sir” and prepare to be the victim of a hate crime. Honestly go buy some normal fucking cloths, pull the rainbow sticker of the back of your damn car, quit acting like a fucking woman, and save the queer shit for home. Sucking dick doesn’t make you special; it makes you a fucking cock-sucker. I have however decided that there is now no reason for me not to purchase this t-shirt and wear it in public. Dear Technical Support,
18 months ago, I upgraded to Girlfriend 1.0 from DrinkingMates 4.2, which I had used for years without any trouble. However, there are apparently conflicts between these two products and the only solution was to try and run Girlfriend 1.0 with the sound turned off.To make matters worse, Girlfriend 1.0 is incompatible with several other applications, such as LadsNightOut 3.1, Football 4.5, and Playboy 6.9. Successive versions of GirlFriend proved no better. I tried a shareware program Slapper 2.1, but it had many bugs and left a virus in my system, forcing me to shut down completely for several weeks. Eventually, I tried to run GirlFriend 1.2 and Girlfriend 1.0 at the same time, only to discover that when these two systems detected each other they caused severe damage to my hardware.

I eventually upgraded to Fiancee 1.0, only to discover that this product soon had to be upgraded further to Wife 1.0. While Wife 1.0 tends to use up all my available resources, it does come bundled with FreeSexPlus and Cleanhouse 2003. Shortly after this upgrade, however, I found that Wife 1.0 could be very unstable and costly to run. Any mistakes I made were automatically stored in Wife 1.0's memory and could not be deleted. They then resurfaced months later when I had forgotten about them. Wife 1.0 also has an automatic Diary, Explorer and E-mail filter, and can, without warning, launch TurboStrop and Whinge. These latter products have no Help files, and I have to try to guess what the problem is. Additional problems are that Wife 1.0 needs updating regularly, requiring Shoe Shop Browser for new attachments and Hairstyle Express which needs to be reinstalled every sixth week. Also, when Wife 1.0 attaches itself to my Porsche911 or Mercedes Benz hard drive, it often crashes.

Wife 1.0 also comes with an irritating pop-up called MotherInLaw, which can't be turned off. Recently I've been tempted to install Mistress 2004, but there could be problems. A friend of mine has alerted me to the fact that if Wife 1.0 detects Mistress 2004, it tends to delete all of Money before uninstalling itself. Please advise ASAP

IT WILL BE THE DEATH OF LIBERALISM

Sixty-three years ago, Nazi Germany had overrun almost all of Europe and hammered England to the verge of bankruptcy and defeat, and had sunk more than four hundred British ships in their convoys between England and America for food and war materials.

Bushido Japan had overrun most of Asia, beginning in 1928, killing millions of civilians throughout China, and impressing millions more as slave labor.

The United States was in an isolationist and pacifist mood, and most Americans and Congress wanted nothing to do with the European war, or the Asian war.

Then along came Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and in outrage Congress unanimously declared war on Japan, and the following day on Germany, which had not attacked us.

It was a dicey thing. We had few allies.

France was not an ally, for the Vichy government of France aligned with its German occupiers. Germany was not an ally, for it was an enemy, and Hitler intended to set up a Thousand Year Reich in Europe.

Japan was not an ally, for it was intent on owning and controlling all of Asia. Japan and Germany had long-term ideas of invading Canada and Mexico, and then the United States over the north and south borders, after they had settled control of Asia and Europe.

America’s allies then were England, Ireland, Scotland, Canada, Australia, and Russia, and that was about it. There were no other countries of any size or military significance with the will and ability to contribute much of anything to the effort to defeat Hitler’s Germany and Japan, and prevent the global dominance of Nazism. And we had to send millions of tons of arms, munitions, and war supplies to Russia, England, and the Canadians, Aussies, Irish, and Scots, because none of them could produce all they needed for themselves.

All of Europe, from Norway to Italy, except Russia in the east, was already under the Nazi heel.

America was not prepared for war. America had stood down most of its military after World War I and throughout the depression. At the outbreak of World War II there were army soldiers training with broomsticks over their shoulders because they didn’t have guns, and using cars with ”tank” painted on the doors because they didn’t have tanks. And a big chunk of our navy had just been sunk and damaged at Pearl Harbor.

Britain had already gone bankrupt, saved only by the donation of $600 million in gold bullion in the Bank of England that was the property of Belgium and was given by Belgium to England to carry on the war when Belgium was overrun by Hitler. Actually, Belgium surrendered one day, because it was unable to oppose the German invasion, and the Germans bombed Brussels into rubble the next day anyway, just to prove they could.

Britain had been holding out for two years already in the face of staggering shipping loses and the near-decimation of its air force in the Battle of Britain, and was saved from being overrun by Germany only because Hitler made the mistake of thinking the Brits were a relatively minor threat that could be dealt with later and turning his attention to Russia, at a time when England was on the verge of collapse in the late summer of 1940.

Russia saved America by putting up a desperate fight for two years until the United States got geared up to begin hammering away at Germany. Russia lost something like 24 million people in the sieges of Stalingrad and Moscow, 90% of them from cold and starvation, mostly civilians, but also more than a million soldiers. More than a million! Had Russia surrendered, then, Hitler would have been able to focus his entire campaign against the Brits, then America, and the Nazis would have won that war.

Had Hitler not made that mistake and invaded England in 1940 or 1941, there would have been no England for the United States and the Brits to use as a staging ground to prepare an assault on Nazi Europe.

England would not have been able to run its North African campaign to help take a little pressure off Russia while America geared up for battle, and today Europe would very probably be run by the Nazis, the Third Reich, and, isolated and without any allies (not even the Brits). The United States would very probably have had to cede Asia to the Japanese, who were basically Nazis by another name then, and the world we live in today would be very different and much worse.

I say this to illustrate that turning points in history are often dicey things.

And we are at another one.

There is a very dangerous minority in Islam that either has-or wants to have, and may soon have the ability to deliver small nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons, almost anywhere in the world, unless it is prevented from doing so.

France, Germany, and Russia, have been selling these Islamic nations weapons technology at least as recently as 2002, as have North Korea, Syria, and Pakistan - paid for with billions of dollars that Saddam Hussein skimmed from the “Oil For Food” program administered by the United Nations with the complicity of Kofi Annan and his son.

The Jihadis, or the militant Muslims, are basically Nazis in Kaffiyahs. They believe that Islam, a radically conservative (definitely not liberal) form of Wahhabi Islam, should own and control the Middle East first, then Europe, then the world, and that all who do not bow to Allah should be killed, enslaved, or subjugated. They want to finish the Holocaust, destroy Israel, and purge the world of Jews. This is what they say.

There is also a civil war raging in the Middle East - for the most part not a hot war, but a war of ideas. Islam is having its Inquisition and its Reformation today, but it is not yet known which will win-the Inquisition, or the Reformation.

If the Inquisition wins, then the Wahhabis, or the Jihadis, will control the Middle East, and the OPEC oil, and the United States, European, and Asian economies - the techno-industrial economies - will be at the mercy of OPEC. Not an OPEC dominated by the well-educated and rational Saudis of today, but an OPEC dominated by the Jihadis.

You want gas in your car? You want heating oil next winter? You want jobs? You want the dollar to be worth anything? You’d better hope the Jihad, the Muslim Inquisition, loses, and the Islamic Reformation wins.

If the Reformation movement wins, that is, the moderate Muslims who believe that Islam can respect and tolerate other religions, and live in peace with the rest of the world, and move out of the 10th Century into the 21st Century, then the troubles in the Middle East will eventually fade away, and a moderate and prosperous Middle East will emerge.

We have to help the Reformation win, and to do that we have to fight the Inquisition, i.e., the Wahhabi movement, the Jihad, Al Qaeda, the Islamic terrorist movements.

We have to do it somewhere. We cannot do it nowhere. And we cannot do it everywhere at once.

We have created a focal point for the battle now at the time and place of our choosing, in Iraq. Not in New York, not in London, or Paris, or Berlin, but in Iraq, where we did and are doing two very important things:

We deposed Saddam Hussein. Whether Saddam Hussein was directly involved in 9/11 or not, it is undisputed that Saddam has been actively supporting the terrorist movement for decades. Saddam is a terrorist. Saddam is, or was, a weapon of mass destruction, who is responsible for the deaths of probably more than a million Iraqis and two million Iranians.
We created a battle, a confrontation, a flash point, with Islamic terrorism in Iraq. We have focused the battle. We are killing bad guys there, and the ones we get there we won’t have to get here, or anywhere else. We also have a good shot at creating a democratic, peaceful Iraq, which will be a catalyst for democratic change in the rest of the Middle East, and an outpost for a stabilizing American military presence in the Middle East for as long as it is needed.
The Euros could have done this, but they didn’t, and they won’t. We now know that rather than opposing the rise of the Jihad, the French, Germans, and Russians were selling them arms. We have found more than a million tons of weapons and munitions in Iraq. If Iraq was not a threat to anyone, why did Saddam need a million tons of weapons?

And Iraq was paying for French, German, and Russian arms with money skimmed from the United Nations Oil For Food Program (supervised by U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan and his son) that was supposed to pay for food, medicine, and education, for Iraqi children.

World War II, the war with the German and Japanese Nazis, really began with a ”whimper” in 1928. It did not begin with Pearl Harbor. It began with the Japanese invasion of China. It was a war for fourteen years before America joined it. It officially ended in 1945 - a 17-year war-and was followed by another decade of United States occupation in Germany and Japan to get those countries reconstructed and running on their own again - a 27-year war. World War II cost the United States an amount equal to approximately a full year’s GDP - adjusted for inflation, equal to about $12 trillion dollars. World War II cost America more than 400,000 killed in action, and nearly 100,000 still missing in action.

The Iraq war has, so far, cost the United States about $120 billion, which is roughly what 9/11 cost New York. It has also cost about 1,000 American lives, which is roughly 1/3 of the 3,000 lives that the Jihad snuffed on 9/11.

But the cost of not fighting and winning World War II would have been unimaginably greater - a world dominated by German and Japanese Nazism.

Americans have a short attention span, now, conditioned I suppose by 30-minute television shows and 2-hour movies in which everything comes out okay. The real world is not like that. It is messy, uncertain, and sometimes bloody and ugly. It always has been, and probably always will be.

If we do this thing in Iraq successfully, it is probable that the Reformation will ultimately prevail. Many Muslims in the Middle East hope it will. We will be there to support it. It has begun in some countries, Libya, for instance. And Dubai. And Saudi Arabia. If we fail, the Inquisition will probably prevail, and terrorism from Islam will be with us for all the foreseeable future, because the people of the Inquisition, or Jihad, believe that they are called by Allah to kill all the Infidels, and that death in Jihad is glorious.

The bottom line here is that we will have to deal with Islamic terrorism until we defeat it, wherever that is. It will not go away on its own. It will not go away if we ignore it.

If the United States can create a reasonably democratic and stable Iraq, then we have an ”England” in the Middle East, a platform from which we can work to help modernize and moderate the Middle East. The history of the world is the clash between the forces of relative civility and civilization, and the barbarians clamoring at the gates. The Iraq war is merely another battle in this ancient and never-ending war. And now, for the first time ever, the barbarians are about to get nuclear weapons. Unless we prevent them. Or somebody does.

The Iraq war is expensive, and uncertain, yes. But the consequences of not fighting it and winning it will be horrifically greater. We have four options:

1. We can defeat the Jihad now, before it gets nuclear weapons.

2. We can fight the Jihad later, after it gets nuclear weapons (which may be as early as next year, if Iran’s progress on nuclear weapons is what Iran claims it is).

3. We can surrender to the Jihad and accept its dominance in the Middle East, now, in Europe in the next few years or decades, and ultimately in America.

4. Or we can stand down now, and pick up the fight later when the Jihad is more widespread and better armed, perhaps after the Jihad has dominated France and Germany and maybe most of the rest of Europe. It will be more dangerous, more expensive, and much bloodier then.

Yes, the Jihadis say that they look forward to an Islamic America. If you oppose this war, I hope you like the idea that your children, or grandchildren, may live in an Islamic America under the Mullahs and the Sharia, an America that resembles Iran today.

We can be defeatist, as many Democrats and liberals, peace-activists, and anti-war types seem to be, and concede or surrender to the Jihad—or we can do whatever it takes to win this war against them.

The history of the world is the history of civilizational clashes, or cultural clashes. All wars are about ideas - ideas about what society and civilization should be like - and the most determined always win. Those who are willing to be the most ruthless always win. The pacifists always lose, because the anti-pacifists kill them.

In the 20th Century, it was western democracy vs. communism, and before that western democracy vs. Nazism, and before that Western democracy vs. German Imperialism. Western democracy won, three times, but it wasn’t cheap, fun, nice, easy, or quick. Indeed, the wars against German Imperialism (World War I), Nazi Imperialism (World War II), and communist imperialism (the 40-year Cold War that included the Vietnam Battle, commonly called the Vietnam War, but itself a major battle in a larger war) covered almost the entire century.

The first major war of the 21st Century is the war between Western Judeo/Christian Civilization and Wahhabi Islam. It may last a few more years, or most of this century. It will last until the Wahhabi branch of Islam fades away, or gives up its ambitions for regional and global dominance and Jihad, or until Western Civilization gives in to the Jihad.

Senator John Kerry, in the debates and almost daily, made three specious claims:

1. We went to Iraq without enough troops.

We went with the troops the United States military wanted. We went with the troop levels that General Tommy Franks asked for. We deposed Saddam in 30 days with light casualties, much lighter than we expected.

The real problem in Iraq is that we are trying to be nice; we are trying to fight the 1% of the population that is Jihadi, and trying to avoid killing the 99% of the population that is not a threat. We could flatten Fallujah in minutes with a flight of B52s, or seconds with one nuclear cruise missile - but we don’t. We’re trying to do brain surgery, not cut off the patient’s head. The Jihadis amputate heads.

2. We went to Iraq with too little planning.

This is a specious argument too, for it supposes that if we had just had ”the right plan” the war would have been easy, cheap, quick, and clean. That is not an option. It is a guerrilla war against a determined enemy, and no such war ever has been or ever will be easy, cheap, quick, and clean. This is not television!

3. We proved ourselves incapable of governing and providing security.

This, too, is a specious argument. It was never our intention to govern and provide security. It was our intention from the beginning to do just enough to enable the Iraqis to develop a representative government and their own military and police forces to provide their own security, and that is happening.

The United States and the Brits and other countries there have trained over 100,000 Iraqi police and military, now, and will have trained more than 200,000 by the end of next year. We are in the process of transitioning operational control for security back to Iraq. It will take time. It will not go without hitches. This is not television.

Remember, perspective is everything, and America’s schools teach too little history. The Cold War lasted from about 1947 to 1989 - at least until the Berlin Wall came down in 1989. Forty-two years. Europe spent the first half of the 19th century fighting Napoleon, and from 1870 to 1945 fighting Germany.

World War II began in 1928, lasted 17 years, plus a ten year occupation, and the United States still has troops in Germany and Japan. World War II resulted in the death of more than 50 million people, maybe more than 100 million people, depending on which estimates you accept.

The United States has taken a little more than 1,000 Killed-in-Action (KIA) in Iraq. The United States took more than 4,000 KIA on the morning of June 6, 1944, the first day of the Normandy Invasion to rid Europe of Nazi Imperialism. In World War II the United States averaged 2,000 KIA a week for four years. Most of the individual battles of World War II lost more Americans than the entire Iraq war has done so far.

But the stakes are at least as high: a world dominated by representative governments with civil rights, human rights, and personal freedoms - or a world dominated by a radical Islamic Wahhabi movement, and by the Jihad, under the Mullahs and the Sharia.

I do not understand why the American left does not grasp this. Too much television, I guess.

The liberals are supposed to be in favor of human rights, civil rights, liberty, freedom, and all that. But not for Iraqis, I guess. In America, but nowhere else. The 300,000 Iraqi bodies in mass graves in Iraq? Not our problem.

The United States population is about twelve times that of Iraq, so let’s multiply 300,000 by twelve. What would you think if there were 3,600,000 American bodies in mass graves in America because of George Bush? Would you want another country to help liberate America?

”Peace Activists” always seem to demonstrate where it’s safe and ineffective to do so: in America. Why don’t we see liberal peace activists demonstrating in Iran, Syria, Iraq, Sudan, North Korea, in the places in the world that really need peace activism the most?

The liberals are supposed to be in favor of human rights, civil rights, democracy, multiculturalism, diversity, etc., but if the Jihad wins, wherever the Jihad wins, it is the end of civil rights, human rights, democracy, multiculturalism, diversity, etc. American liberals who oppose the liberation of Iraq are coming down on the side of their own worst enemy. If the Jihad wins, it is the death of Liberalism. Everywhere the Jihad wins, it is the death of Liberalism.

WHY ARE WE THERE?

I’ve come off as a man opposed to helping others, and I’m not. I am however a man who believes in helping people to do better and not just maintain a failed lifestyle, I do of course also believe that people must be willing to help themselves. Now here in the U.S. we are scrambling around to help the victims of the tsunami that has devastated parts of Asia. I believe that the death is over 150,000 now and that there are still people "missing" (dead). Now do they need help? Yes. should we help them? No! In the immediate wake of this disaster Sri Lanka and India both refused aid from western countries, and Israeli doctors (religious motivation perhaps) who specialized in pediatrics and trauma/search and rescue. Now to my knowledge Thailand has done no such thing, however considering their human rights record and child sex trade, I think now would be a hell of a time to hold a little western money over their heads and make them shape up.

OR WE COULD…
…say fuck ‘em, what needs fixing here at home? How about the homeless population 3 million large and growing with about 5 million people in this country paying over half of their income for housing and therefore on the verge of being homeless. 3,000,000 homeless Americans should be a greater priority than a few hundred thousand dead and homeless Asians. Look at the money that could be saved on fuel if all this aid we were collecting was being used to ship food around the corner instead of around the world.
I was watching a story the other day about some group buying a fishing boat for some out of work Indian fisherman. I don’t believe the fisherman living and working here along America’s shore enjoy 100% employment, why hasn’t there been a boat bought for some of them? Because they aren’t the chic problem of the moment. When was the last time you saw anyone collecting for 9/11 orphans…been a while hasn’t it. There are still orphans but their 15 minutes is over. So drop a couple of bucks in the bucket, feel good about yourself, you just bought a loaf of bread for somebody half way around the world, but make damn sure when the homeless guy ask you for change to lie to him about the contents of your pocket and quickly walk away. I hate casual philanthropist!

So yesterday morning I walk into a drugstore to have some pictures from a going away party the night before developed. Now of course said event had two strippers and the pictures were not of the buffee. So I walk up to the photo counter and have this exchange with a 60+ year old woman:

"How are you this morning, I need to have this film developed"
"When do you need them by?"
"10:30 or 11:00 would be great"
"How man prints?"
"Doubles and I need photo CDs too"
"Alright here is your claim ticket and I’ll have these ready in a few hours"
"Do you develop them yourself?" I hadn’t thought bout the nice old lady who reminds me of my grandmother seeing the pictures until now.
"Are you offended by exotic dancers?" Maybe I shouldn’t give this nice old lady this film.

12:15 I come rolling in to get my pictures. Well granny spots me when I’m still about 25 yards from the photo counter, and has my pictures on the counter waiting, no claim ticket. UN: United Nations?

I’m going to leave the Oil for Food scandle out of this argument and just look this one fact.

We host the UN here in the US, and we foot almost a quarter of their operating budget. We spend an estimated 24 billion on UN operations involving our military on years when there are no major operations (Somalia, Bosnia, 1st Iraq). And yet of the 56,000 people employed by the UN, only 7% are US citizens. The security Council at any time has 10 at-large member nations, many of which are major contributors to terrorism or in violation of civil rights laws. These nations contribute very little to the UN financially or ideologically since often their primary concern is to punish enemies or weaken the hand of stronger nations. In short the UN is corrupt.

But you can’t simply go in and throw out the bad apples because for the most part all the apples are bad. Even otherwise respectable and fair nations with a genuine interest in peace, human rights, ect still want to try to gain power and clout in this "World Body". the problem is there is no such organization. The UN is just a chance for a couple hundred other countries to have a say in US policy, and that is all it has been since the end of the cold war.

UN peacekeeper = US military

The UN’s first big "peacekeeping" operation was Korea in 1950. The US did most of the work and paid most of the bills, the rest of the world saw the goldmine and has taken advantage of us ever since. It’s also safe to say that the coalition that went to Korea had a similar make-up to that which is now in Iraq. What is different? Korea didn’t have oil contracts with two of the Security Council members, or religious ideologies that made other members rally for it as a way to support a message of hate for prosperity and freedom. The UN peacekeepers went into Iraq, they just didn’t wait for things to get as bad as the wallets of the French and Russians would allow.

The UN is obsolete.

When the USSR fell the UN was no longer needed. International governing bodies are ineffective. Stability in the future will come from the order we give the world as the only superpower. With this comes a great responsibility, we must try to preserve as much of the different cultures of the world as possible and yet seek a fair solution to all problems. It is up to use to use a heavy yet fair hand to look past corruption and bitter hate and to keep the field fair. It is easy to be the bully, we must be the Judge, Jury and if necessary eradicator of all evils, and still be better than that. It will be hard to do, but who better to try than a country as wonderful as the US, which is by no means perfect, but we do seem to get buy pretty well. Besides if we can do any worse than the United Nations I don’t know how.

I realize that some of the things I have to say are not gentle, and that many of my generalizations may even be insulting to some, but I will stand by them. Vagina vs. Rectum: Male Homosexuality and Why Heterosexuals Will Never Accept It.

A little background information:
The other day I ate dinner with a good female friend and a gay guy she works with. I’ve spent plenty of time around gay (he says gay so I will too) people before, but this guy was flaming. We were joking around telling some stories and he decided to tell the story of losing his virginity. His story and mine were quite different. Mine involved 3 minutes and a stain I never got out of the upholstery of my first truck, his involved lube, three unsuccessful penetrations, and wearing maxi pads in his briefs for a week. In the privacy of their own home most people disapprove of homosexuality and if they don’t they would if it really affected them. I don’t care how open-minded or liberal someone is, they don’t want little Bobby going to homecoming with the captain of the football team. What gay men do to other men is disgusting to most people and always will be, no matter if they are Christian, Jew ,Muslim, Hindu or atheist; Caucasian, African-American, Hispanic or Chinese; liberal or conservative. Homosexual sex and the people who need it will always disgust the vast majority of the human race. Now I’ve only touched on male homosexuality and that is because honestly I think that when most strait people think of homosexuals they think of an effeminate male who has limp wrist, manicured fingernails, shaved legs and a lisp. We think of lesbians secondly because they aren’t as disturbing. Two women together almost seems harmless compared to the horrors of a guy sticking his penis into another man’s ass. Besides from a male point of view, most lesbians won’t be missed by the heterosexual male population and strait women are so damn competitive anyway, I’m sure they don’t mind the increase in their odds. Now occasionally you trip across a real lipstick lesbian, and then a moment of silence must be observed, as a beauty has been lost to the dark side. Generally though it is the Homosexual male who is responsible for people’s perceptions of all homosexuals. Food For Though: The Rule of 1 in 21

Situation:
there is some kind of great life ending disaster that kills virtually all life on the planet (pick your poison) and by whatever reason fate would have it you and twenty-one others survive and locate each other, there are presumably no other survivors left. For the sake of argument we’ll say there are 11women and 10 men, all between the ages of 18-39 quite healthy. Amongst you every person is unique in their profession and their contribution of tools (meaning anything manufactured prior to this all destroying disaster), so all are needed. Within the group there is more than adequate knowledge of engineering and agriculture which are the two things you need most. The group is divided into two subgroups. One group who will build and maintain shelter as well as trying to make improvements to the group’s quality of life by recreating things they once had (engineering, 7 people). The second will be responsible for planting food, tending to crops, harvesting crops, preserving the crops, preparing the food, and maintaining a fresh water source (agriculture, 14 people). The group functions rather well using democracy to make the few decisions they need to. A firm rank is determined regarding work so that there can be no disruption to the common cause of survival, however in times of leisure all are treated as equals. The group functions well for around a year before therelowly starts to be a breakdown in morale. Slowly people begin to find things or create things in their free time that others want, but for whatever reason cannot have. This leads to people changing their lifestyles and furthers the disputes that begin to arise. The groups begin to become divided and eventually separate off into many different sub groups. They still continue to perform their original duties because all have a strong desire to survive. Then one day one member of the group starts to show an open distain for everyone else and begins to threaten many of the others with bodily harm and possibly death. They ignore him until a few days later when one of them turns up dead in a dwelling. They come together to have an inquisition and try to discover who the perpetrator is. To their amazement without even being questioned the aforementioned member who had been making threats confesses and bluntly states that he plans to kill everyone who lives differently than him. They detain him, but lack the facilities to keep him separated safely from the group without a constant guard. This begins to put a strain on the food supply as now three people have been removed from the production, but only one from the consumption of their resources. It becomes apparent that there is no way to keep this person under control or detained. If they continue to keep him under a guard they will starve to death, plus risk him getting free and doing someone else harm. The group comes together and after much deliberation can find no way to control him without risking the lives of everyone else.

Take a moment and think about what you would do before continuing.

My Final Word on the Peterson Conviction

Well I try to occasionally put something of merit on here but I don’t even know why I bother. It seems I get the good responses when ever I put something totally inflammatory on here, such as this Scott Peterson stuff. Now understand I’m sure he killed his wife and child, however there just wasn’t sufficient evidence to put him on trial for murder, much less convict him. This is America where you are innocent until proven guilty. Scot Peterson was always considered guilty and his defense team failed to prove he was innocent. The burden of proof should have fallen on the prosecutors and it didn’t. this WAS a failure in the criminal justice system and if you remove emotion and look at this from an evidentiary standpoint it really was a farce. Now I’m glad that California has once again provided a moral victory for some minority that felt it needed a champion. Women everywhere can now rest better knowing that Scott Peterson is in jail. Just like black people everywhere can rest better knowing that OJ got to kill him some white folks and get away with it. I sleep better at night knowing that not only is this country full of idiots but that they will always be able to make $10 a day as jurors. This case will be studied for years in law classrooms, abused women’s groups, victim advocacy circles, and countless other hotbeds for ignorance, where it will be cheered for making a change. This case will be used to make judgments on future prosecutions, and as much as America has opened itself up to supporting frivolous lawsuits, we now have a guide to frivolous prosecution. "Justice" may have been served with Scott Peterson’s conviction, but the criminal justice system, the idea of "innocent until proven guilty", and America were not.

The citizens of California proved once again that when they step into a jurors box stupidity ensues. Scott Peterson was found guilty of murder today. Not surprising considering the overwhelming lack of any real evidence. Fucking California, and those two bit ass clowns out there get on the national news and call the people in the RED STATES "stupid". Well to hell with that, look in a mirror you absurd, flighty, and pathetic fools.

Look at the bitch…you know she is the kind who ~~has~~ had a squeaky voice, ~~won't~~ wouldn't give head, ~~burns~~ burned dinner, ~~brings~~ brought the car back on empty, and ~~doesn’t~~ didn't ever let you go out with your friends.

After Yasser Arafats passing yesterday i decided not to post anything because i had said enough. Upon watching his funeral this morning I realized I had not. I also relized that in general the Arab people are just a bunch of filthy animals who are incapable of anything but violence. I wasn't real sure how far I wanted to go in damning Yasser Arafat, however I found someone who came close...

I felt Jeff Jacoby did an excellent job in his articele ARAFAT, R.I.P.!? on Jewish World Review. The Article Follows:

Yasser Arafat died at the age of 75, lying in bed and surrounded by familiar faces. He left this world peacefully, unlike the thousands of victims he sent to early graves.

In a better world, the PLO chief would have met his end on a gallows, hanged for mass murder much as the Nazi chiefs were hanged at Nuremberg. In a better world, the French president would not have paid a visit to the bedside of such a monster. In a better world, well-wishers would not be flocking to the hospital grounds to create a makeshift shrine of flowers, candles, and admiring messages. In a better world, George Bush would not have said, on hearing the first reports that Arafat had died, "G-d bless his soul."

God bless his soul? What a grotesque thing to say! Bless the soul of the man who brought modern terrorism to the world? Who sent his agents to slaughter athletes at the Olympics, blow airliners out of the sky, bomb schools and pizzerias, machine-gun passengers in airline terminals? Who lied, cheated, and stole without compunction? Who inculcated the vilest culture of Jew-hatred since the Third Reich? Human beings might stoop to bless a creature so evil — as indeed Arafat was blessed, with money, deference, even a Nobel Prize — but G-d, I am quite sure, will damn him for eternity.

Arafat always inspired flights of nonsense from Western journalists, and his last two weeks were no exception.

Arafat's "undisputed courage as a guerrilla leader," Derek Brown wrote in The Guardian, was exceeded only "by his extraordinary courage" as a peace negotiator. But it is an odd kind of courage that expresses itself in shooting unarmed victims and exhorting other people to become suicide bombers — or in signing peace accords and then flagrantly violating their terms.

Another commentator, columnist Gwynne Dyer, asked, "So what did Arafat do right?" The answer: He drew worldwide attention to the Palestinian cause, "for the most part by successful acts of terror." In other words, butchering innocent human beings was "right" since it served an ulterior political motive. No doubt that thought brings daily comfort to all those who were forced to bury a child, parent, or spouse because of Arafat's "successful" terrorism.

Some journalists couldn't wait for Arafat's actual death to begin weeping for him. Take the BBC's Barbara Plett, who burst into tears on the day he was airlifted out of the West Bank. "When the helicopter carrying the frail old man rose above his ruined compound," Plett reported from Ramallah, "I started to cry." Normal people don't weep for brutal murderers, but Plett made it clear that her empathy for Arafat — whom she praised as "a symbol of Palestinian unity, steadfastness, and resistance" — was heartfelt:

"I remember well when the Israelis re-conquered the West Bank more than two years ago," she said, "how they drove their tanks and bulldozers into Mr. Arafat's headquarters, trapping him in a few rooms, and throwing a military curtain around Ramallah. I remember how Palestinians admired his refusal to flee under fire. They told me: 'Our leader is sharing our pain, we are all under the same siege.' And so was I." Such is the state of journalism at the BBC, whose reporters do not seem to have any trouble reporting, dry-eyed, on the pain of Arafat's victims. (That is, when they mention them — which Plett's teary bon voyage to Arafat did not.)

And what about those victims? Why were they scarcely remembered in the drawn-out Arafat deathwatch?

How is it possible to reflect on Arafat's most enduring legacy — the rise of modern terrorism — without recalling the legions of men, women, and children whose lives he and his followers destroyed? If Osama bin Laden were on his deathbed, would we neglect to mention all those he murdered on 9/11?

It would take an encyclopedia to catalog all of the evil Arafat committed. But that is no excuse for not trying to recall at least some of it.

Perhaps his signal contribution to the practice of political terror was the introduction of warfare against children. On one black date in May 1974, three PLO terrorists slipped from Lebanon into the northern Israeli town of Ma'alot. They murdered two parents and their child at home, then seized a local school, taking more than 100 boys and girls hostage and threatening to kill them unless a number of imprisoned terrorists were released. When Israeli troops attempted a rescue, the terrorists exploded hand grenades and opened fire on the students. By the time the horror ended, 25 people were dead; 21 of them were children.

Thirty years later, no one speaks of Ma'alot anymore. The dead children have been forgotten. Everyone knows Arafat's name, but who ever recalls the names of his victims?

So let us recall them: Ilana Turgeman. Rachel Aputa. Yocheved Mazoz. Sarah Ben-Shim'on. Yona Sabag. Yafa Cohen. Shoshana Cohen. Michal Sitrok. Malka Amrosy. Aviva Saada. Yocheved Diyi. Yaakov Levi. GAY MARRIAGE/CIVIL UNIONS…A non moral opposition.

One of the most widely discussed issues during the 2004 presidential campaigns was gay marriage/civil unions. The Republican stance against gay marriage was one backed by support from the evangelical Christian element in the Republican party, being as I’m not an evangelical Christian, but do oppose gay marriage I would like to present a different argument, first against gay marriage and especially civil unions and secondly against all marriage in general. I believe that if one is going to make an intelligent argument about issues of government policy in a country then morals derived from religious influence must not be included in one’s argument. However the solution to all of this may very well be derived from religious ceremony or abolition of it in government.

We have reached a time in history where homosexuals can live open lives and shouldn’t (though I realize they are) be persecuted for their choices. Proponents of gay marriage/civil unions say that everyone deserves the legal right afforded to traditional man/woman marriages. Opponents who don’t use morality as a factor in their opposition are generally ignored because any opinion that can’t be shot down by back lashing at someone for being religious or moral is best suppressed. Like so many commonsense arguments these are very unpopular because they don’t always agree with popular opinions of “open-minded” people. So lets look at these unions from a financial impact stance and leave morality and religion out of the equation. My biggest concern in allowing gay marriage is that it leads to spouse benefits through insurance coverage, and with health insurance cost rising I’m not interested in giving the highest STD risk group the health care benefits afforded many spouses. I realize at first it is easy to dismiss this idea but take a look at this alarming figure.

-42% of new HIV cases occur in MSM according to the Center For Disease Control figures for HIV infections for MSM (men who have sex with men) in their 2002 report Tracking the Hidden Epidemics

Now as I looked for more compelling evidence, much of it came from sources that were to some degree supported by Christian groups and so I refused to use their information, however the health department in King County, Washington (Seattle)gave some very interesting statistics, some of which I had not even considered.

-Gay and bisexual men, especially those with HIV, are at significantly higher risk for anal cancer than the general population.
Statistics show that the rate for anal cancer in gay and bisexual men (without HIV) is about the same as the rates of cervical cancer in women before pap smears became routine. Routine pap smears have decreased the incidence of cervical cancer from 30-40 per 100,000 women to approximately 8 per 100,000...Men become infected with anal HPV through receptive anal intercourse. One study estimates that approximately 95 percent of gay men with HIV and 65 percent of gay men without HIV have HPV in their anal canals or the surrounding skin.

-Anti-GLBT hate crimes are those in which victims are chosen because of their actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity.
Hate crimes may include property crimes (like robbery), threats, intimidation or actual acts of physical violence. Hate crimes are unique because they send messages to entire groups - as well as to their families and other supporters - that they are unwelcome and unsafe in particular communities. Most anti-GLBT hate crimes are committed by otherwise law-abiding young people who often believe that they have societal permission to engage in anti-gay violence.

-Drug use among GLBT people
For some men, crystal meth is an integral part of gay culture and their personal, social and sexual identities. Unfortunately, it also plays an undeniable role in the rise of HIV, STDs, and addiction in our community.

What I have found most upsetting is that all the figures regarding sexual orientation and infection rates have virtually disappeared. I understand the need to be sympathetic and understanding but not blind. The new standard is to give limited numbers on MSM but not the gay community as a whole. In the near future I’ll try to find more of the figures that I have seen used regarding this subject, and add them.

The argument however remains this, health care cost are rising in this country at an alarming rate, spousal medical benefits are generally much less expensive than those offered through a policy for each member of the relationship. Who pays for the difference? Everyone who has insurance, and people who buy products/services from companies who provide extended family health benefits to its employees. So why then should everyone pay for the difference in health care cost for these “high risk” people.

THE SOLUTION: Abolish all marriage!

The institution of marriage has traditionally been considered to be the union of one man and one woman, however as times have changed so has our perception of sexuality. The ritual of marriage began with the rise of religion many years ago (how many is once again can be a religious argument). Why has our government extended its power to a religious ceremony? The quick fix would be this abolish government influence in marriage. You will no longer need to go to the government to become married, instead you will go to the religious group, non traditional spiritual group, or who the hell ever else you prefer to be married by and be married in their name. Then if you want your partners last name you can go have that change made. If you want legal authority over your health, finances, or whatever to be controlled by your partner, make a contract saying that. Want your partner to have everything when you die, get a will, this is all no brainier stuff. We don’t need marriage certificates, we need legal documents concerning each individual situation. Soon attorneys would have generated partner agreements so that people in an union regardless of type would be covered by all the same legal agreements that currently come with marriage, and everyone could be treated the same. In this situation however many of the negatives arising from marriage are no more. A person would have no benefit to marry for money because unless the person stipulates that their will be money exchanged as part of the relationship in a legal document, there will be nothing to be gained. All in all this would be a much cleaner system once perfected and would afford everyone the same rights.

THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT?

I’m offended by recent implications that all Republicans vote based on the morality of abortion and gay marriage rights. I in fact vote Republican and would in almost any race (one I would not have that comes to mind is Clinton vs. Dole in ‘96). I certainly don’t vote social issues because they are generally secondary to my concern for fiscal issues, gun control and foreign policy. In this election one of my key motivations was my best friend serving in Iraq and preparing to go to Afghanistan with the 173rd Airborne. I asked him who he wanted for his commander and chief and he said Bush. That alone is enough. However I as a member of the So called Religious Right I had to sit down and look at what was important to me. For the sake of this argument I will call these my personal 10 commandments:

(in order of importance, since religion is secondary to finance, security, the people I love, and good sense some of these are in fact political)
1. My best friend shalt not serve under a Commander-in-Chief whom he neither trust or respects.---This rule is non negotiable, he is my first priority.
2. Thou shall put no countries interest above our own.---I’m voting for the U.S. President, not secretary general of the UN.
3. I will not have 32% of my pay taken from me without agreeing with how it is spent.---I still don’t understand why half the businesses I walk into are hiring but unemployment is 5%, however if there was no welfare or unemployment I suspect this would change faster than a John Kerry position.
4. I will not explain to my 11 year-old-sister what gay rights are every time I turn on the TV.---I’ve never been to hedero-rights march and if I did, I’d be a bigot.
5. I will target shoot once a week and defend my home, personal welfare, and the welfare of those for whom I care with firearms, the right of ownership of which comes from the 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution.--- I enjoy many aspects of target shooting, gun collecting and self preservation, please Mr. Liberal let me keep my guns.
6. I will help others in a compassionate manor, such as I would hope to find were I in need.---Accordingly I expect anyone who takes this help to use it in an effort to move forward, and not maintain an unsuccessful lifestyle.
7. I shall sleep well knowing that for every American who loses their life do to wrongs perpetrated against my homeland by hate driven people, an unforgiving hand will come and their wrongs will be revisited upon the friends, family and countrymen of said perpetrators 100 fold, both economically and with the lose of human life.---If your cousin is going to America to blow something up…stop him or I will destroy you and all that you hold dear and love. This isn’t the words of an extremist, this is the promise of a man who wants to live peacefully without undo fear of unpredictable lunatics who hate my way of life.
8. I will never be persecuted or persecute someone in the name of any religion or it’s deities.---”one nation under God” in the Pledge hurts nobody, a copy of the 10 Commandments in an Alabama Courthouse hurts nobody, however when one person is forced to live under the beliefs of a MORAL MINORITY, that is wrong. Conversely expecting the majority to ignore its beliefs for the whims of any minority, religious or otherwise is unrealistic and wrong as well.
9. I shall not be expected to speak a second language in an English speaking country.---Nuff said.
10. I will enjoy all “sinful” behavior that the law will allow.---Have fun.

Now a little run down of the “real” 10 Commandments:

1. I am the Lord thy God. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.---This one is tricky, but I’d say I’ve defiantly “worshipped” things that were not God.
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.---Again tricky, but probably have done this too.
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.---Done this a lot.
4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.---The Sabbath is Saturday, and I have blown this one all to shit.
5. Honor thy father and thy mother.---Nobody has done this one without fail.
6. Thou shalt not kill.---I’m not quite to this level as a sinner.
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.---Some people will argue that only a woman can commit adultery, you’ll have to decide for yourself, but if a man can I have.
8. Thou shalt not steal. ---I plea the Fifth.
9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.---Done this too.
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house,---maybe done it, this is kind of vague thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife,---done it and damn it was great, I insist everyone try this one nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass,---see homosexuality is wrong nor any thing that is thy neighbor's.

So there you have it, if The Republican party is the party of God fearing, Bible beating evangelicals then where do I belong? I’ve numerous friends who are not religious to speak of and who in many cases lack all sense of morality, but vote Republican. The religious right may have put us over the top, but they are no different than the social program recipients and minority vote to which the Democratic party caters. In the end neither party gives a damn about its extreme wings other than the passion of the vigilant extremist to find new voters.

Ways to do abortions: Suction
The abortionist first paralyzes the cervix (womb opening). He then inserts a hollow plastic tube with a knife-like tip into the uterus. The procedure tears the baby's body into pieces and the hose frequently jerks as pieces of the baby become lodged. Salt Poisoning (saline injection)
Most often used after the first trimester (first three months). The abortionist injects a strong salt solution directly into the amniotic sac (fluid surrounding the baby). The baby breathes and swallows it, is poisoned, struggles, and sometimes convulses. It takes over an hour to kill the baby. The mother delivers the dead baby in a day or two (sometimes alive!). Why "candy apple" babies? The corrosive effect of the salt solution often burns and strips away the outer layer of the baby's skin. This exposes the raw, red, glazed-looking subcutaneous layer of tissue. The baby's head sometimes looks like a candy apple. Some have also likened this method to the effect of napalm on innocent war victims. This technique was originally developed in the concentration camps in Nazi Germany. a salt poisoning abortion.
Hormonal contraceptives. (Abortion)
Precocious and unnoticed abortion can happen in 50% or more of the menstrual cycles of women who are taking low doses of contraceptives. With the combined tablet, the abortion can happen once every two years. That is, a woman who takes contraceptives or uses injections is aborting in such a percentage.
Prostaglandin Abortions
Three forms, two are injected and one is a vaginal suppository. Its first approved use was for "the induction of midtrimester abortion." The hormone produces a violent labor and delivery of whatever size baby the mother carries. If the baby is old enough to survive the trauma of labor, it may be born alive, but is usually too small to survive. In one article, among the complications listed was "live birth!".
RU-486
A drug that produces an abortion taken after the mother misses her period. Its effect is to block the use of an essential hormonal nutrient by the newly-implanted baby, who then dies, and drops off. Note that RU-486 is not a contraceptive because it does not prevent fertilization or implantation. It is used only after the mother has missed her period and the baby is at least two to three weeks old, with a beating heart (the fetal heart begins to beat when the woman is four days late for her period). Read how Methotrexate - one of the drugs contained in RU486 - can cause liver damage, kidney destruction, heart muscle compromise, pulmonary failure, gastrointestinal pathology, and bone marrow suppression. It has also been reported to cause loss of speech function, strokes, and convulsions.
Dilatation or Curettage
Uncommon today and used during the first 10 weeks of pregnancy. This is similar to the suction procedure except that the abortionist inserts a curette, a loop-shaped steel knife up into the uterus. He then cuts the placenta and baby into pieces and scrapes them out into a basin. Bleeding is usually profuse.
Hysterotomy
This method is usually used late in pregnancy and is likened to an "early" Caesarian section. The mother's abdomen and uterus are surgically opened and the baby is lifted out. Unfortunately, many of these babies are very much alive when removed. To kill the babies, some abortionists have been known to plunge them into buckets of water or smother them with the placentas. Still others cut the cord while the baby is still inside the uterus depriving the baby of oxygen.
Intrauterine device (Abortion)
It is a device of several forms that is placed within the uterus. It does not avoid conception but modifies the internal coating of the uterus in such a form that the developing baby who comes from the Fallopian tube, cannot be implanted and dies, His remains are later eliminated through menstruation.

I am pro-choice, but I can look at these photos and still say that. In fact while I was putting in the photo’s I was eating a hotdog and realized I forgot the ketchup (now that the election is over I’m enjoying the fine Heinz products again). If you look at this and say that abortion is wrong then consider just how many kids die every year because of starvation, abuse, OR injury do to lack of supervision, ect. When you look at some of the alternatives, a quick death is much betterthan being an unwanted, abused, or neglected child. Every day 29,000 children die from hunger, so the next time you say finacial considerations is not a good reason for an abortion, stop eating for a week.

If this photo inspires you to go "feed the children", remember that there are thousands of children in the United States who starve and live in impoverished regions. If you like the trendyness of giving to someone who isn’t African American, or Caucasian, most American Indians live below the poverty level too. Beware of the parents request for more fire water though!

Imagine coming home from a fishing trip the day before Christmas only to find your pregnant wife missing. Worse yet you were out fishing all day and didn’t catch a damn thing. Things only get worse from here, the police seize your truck (starting to sound like a country song isn’t it?), your girlfriend decides to start talking to people about your relationship, and then your in-laws turn on you. A few months later your wife just happens to come bobbing up in the waters of the San Francisco bay (notorious for its cold temperatures) badly decomposed and missing a fetus right where you went fishing that day. Then little Connor bobs up wrapped in plastic with no umbilical cord or placenta (almost like a child who has been born). Suddenly the witch hunt that your in-laws and the police are destroying you with is just to much. So on April 18th you’ve had to much; you’ve lost your wife, son, and truck, had to sell your boat and her car because you lost your job and worst of all you haven’t been fishing in months and the last time you went you didn’t catch a damn thing. What are you to do? You dye your hair blonde and head down to Mexico for margaritas and senoritas of course (remember cut the limes not the ladies Scott). However on your way to sunny meehico you get nabbed by the cops and arrested for murder. Fortunately, realizing that you have been unjustly accused, Mark Geragos comes to your aid because he believes in justice and will not see you railroaded. Things progress slowly and a year later your trial begins. Well during the course of the trial it comes up that you are a real bastard, which everyone already figured out when they saw the trailer park trash you were pounding on the side. What nobody ever can prove is that you killed your wife. That right. You planned your crime well, left no evidence, and never admitted to a thing, but here you are facing murder charges. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Well you live in California and they don’t have stuff like that there. So here you sit, a man who’s only crime was a love of fishing on trial for murder.
Did Scott Peterson kill his wife? Most likely
Is he guilty of murder? NO!
There is no physical evidence that he killed anyone. If he did then he did an excellent job and the simple fact of the matter is that he didn’t do anything if he didn’t leave any physical evidence. Ultimately I don’t care if he did it, he should be free.

I can sleep well again.
I’ve honestly been stressed about this election because I was scared to death of a Kerry victory. The aspect of having four Supreme Court justices picked by the most liberal president in American history scared the hell out of me. I’m a firm believer that nothing, and know body can stand too much change too quickly. Changes must be made slowly to allow for acclimation and I was deeply afraid that we might suffer radical change under liberal activist justices. Understand that most liberal issues, I’m not completely opposed too, but before we go and let a small panel of un-elected people serving lifetime appointments go and rewrite the laws of this land, I think we need to look at what has happened in this country. We no longer write our congressman or attend government meetings when we want something changed, no we now sue and take grievances that are not of any legal matter to a judge. A judge should never rule on anything for which there isn’t a law. Members of the judicial branch are there to interpret (I use this term loosely) the law so that the laws are not misconstrued. When a judge takes it upon themselves to ignore the law and make their judgemnts according to their own beliefs or rule on something for which no law exist, then our system of checks and balances has failed. Understand that much of the litigation that appears before the counts I agree with, however if there is no law to judge it by then it should not be there. So write a letter or email to an elected official, sign a petition, picket outside a government building, handcuff yourself to a tree, whatever, but quit asking judges to change the laws for you, the will of a few should never impose upon that of the masses.
So how stupid is too stupid?
I’ve now got yet another detractor, Pico. Pico attacks the spelling skills of a friend who is linked to me, while exercising poor alliteration, sentence structure, and punctuation. Since I’m back from hiatus and making new friends I thought it might be time to once again let everyone know where I stand of a few things that come up here often.

Political Affiliation: Republican
Bush: I was a McCain man.
God: keep him out of my government
Iraq: Ask the Kurds if they are glad we came to Iraq
Abortion: pro choice, I’m not interested in having kids right now and don’t want anybody else who isn’t to have one either! Use abortions for medical reasons, because of rape or insest, or just because you would rather have surgery than use contraceptives.
Social Programs: I spend over half of what I make on helping people who need it, hands on, zero administartve cost, zero fraud, and when someone waste the help they are given, they have to look me in the eye. Much more effective than any social program. I believe more people would do what I do if the government left them with the resources to do so.
Gay Marriage/ Civil Unions: Abolish all state involvement in the institution of marriage. Marriage should be between any two people who want one, but it shouldn’t be a function of government.

After the election I’ll touch on each of these topics and many more.

This will make more sense if you read the comment left regarding my last post.
Ladies and gentleman the General is in business. I have lost 3 months of rants, but I started over and in less than 24hrs, my first unsolicited detractor. I’d like to introduce everyone to the Scarlet Pimp author of The Scarlet Paper. The Pimp is 27 years of age, out of work, female (which is OK), agrees with some of Marx’s teaching, gets her news from the movies, and now the big surprise…is a liberal, and of course a Democrat. Let’s look at what she has to say:

They would fire my old supervisor and things would be different. Things would be better. I’ve been confused for years by democrats who get up every morning and go to work, marry someone of the opposite sex but same race, send their children to private schools, and generally contribute in a positive manor to society. Today however I believe it all finally began to make since. Many people want to be compassionate, open-minded, and accepting because that is what enlightened intelligent people do. WRONG! Enlightened intelligent people realize that 99% of the time not only are things as they appear, but that all assumptions made according to appearances are the safest bet. This morning I got a dose of Democrat genius from an otherwise intelligent person caught defending an insane position.

WHY THE FUCK DOES SOMEONE WHO WEIGHS 130 SOAKING WET THINK ITS A GOOD IDEA TO MOUTH OFF TO SOMEONE THREE TIMES HIS SIZE? Let me answer this for you, because the little fucker can. A hundred years ago they would shot you if you missdelt a deck of cards. Fifty years ago diheria of the mouth was enough to get your head knock clear off, but today nothing. Why have we become a society that caters to the coward with a mouth? I'm not talking about someone who has a right to say something, I'm talking bout the coward fucks who will run off at the mouth because they know if you do anything about it you'll go to jail. When the fuck did this become a country where we applaud the coward and someone who doesn't allowthemselves to be treated in that way is a criminal. It's a double standard at that. If the little fuck took a shot at me for calling him a runt, what am I going to do call the cops and look them in the eye and say he attacked me, HELL NO! I'm a man, I could never deal with that embarrassment, and so I'm fucked both ways. Screw the people who think violence is so horrible, the world would be a much better place if we reestablished a pecking order. Life isn't supposed to be fair or equal, not everybody can be at the top, but someone damn well needs to be. Any assault resulting in no permanent damage (14 days or more to heal) should be no fault. And if a few fucking runts have to kiss my ass under that rule then its damn well time, genetics smiled on me.
